One day, I spent $75 on spins to build up Mai and Athena, who were released as the strongest players. Plus, there were a lot of characters that I liked. Did I want to play a game that was rigged? I felt trapped though because of spending a lot of money on this game. There was a huge imbalance to PVP and other vs mode stuff where you could no win not matter what. I'd do her special move and the enemy would become invisible and unbeatable.

Then, I noticed the mods wouldn't fix stuff, like how one of the 7Knights was defective. The only issues I have encountered so far are live PvP matches lagging a bit but I’m playing on an iPhone 6s so I’m DEFINITELY NOT running optimal hardware plus I am playing on the highest resolutions/graphic options available to me so I’m honestly not surprised I get some lag! I’m still new to the game so I have plenty of quests to complete for free gems (or rubies? Idk what the premium currency is called) so I can’t really talk about the long term but the summon system seems decent enough so far although I wish there were pools for separate years to avoid pulling 3 different versions of goro but that is just my own personal preference. The animations are super clean, the music and sound effects also really add an arcade experience feel to this game as well. Love beat em ups and love KoF and this is a beautiful mashup.
